Monthly meetings resume after our summer hiatus. The general public is invited to attend and learn about Zero Waste, which is practical, “applied environmentalism,” and something we all can do every day to make a difference. Ruth Abbe, Chair of the Sierra Club’s statewide Zero Waste Issue Committee, will define Zero Waste, share the Club’s National Zero Waste Policy, explain what we can do as individuals and as grassroots activists to pursue Zero Waste locally. She will share success stories from other chapters and inspire us to take the next steps on the path to Zero Waste.
Our monthly meetings are free and open to the general public. Meet some friendly people, get informed, and get inspired!
