On this date 169 years ago, California was officially granted statehood. Today, as the world’s fifth-largest economy, California truly is 163,696 square miles of opportunity. It’s the place where people can realize the American dream.
But in the 4th Congressional District, that dream is at risk because incumbent politician Tom McClintock has lost sight of what matters to Californians. He’s voted eighteen times to take healthcare away from people with prior conditions. He voted to raise our taxes by capping deductions for middle-class families, small businesses and even wildfire victims. And just this past week, he’s allowed Washington to divert millions in firefighting resources away from the California National Guard.
The D.C. special interests are invested in Tom McClintock because he works for them. It’s time California’s Fourth District had a representative who actually works for us. It’s time for Brynne Kennedy.
