It’s been an incredible (and busy) month on the campaign trail here in California’s 21st district.
I had the opportunity to meet with local business owners, seniors, environmental advocates, and dozens of working families who are taking part in the Democratic process for the first time ever.
The energy on the ground has been remarkable. Folks are showing up in droves to events, phonebanks, and canvasses to talk to voters, and this is shaping up to be a grassroots campaign built from the ground up.

We’re trying to do things the right way in our campaign to take on David Valadao.
That means traveling across this district, hearing directly from this community, and being responsive to the needs on the ground. It also means rejecting big money from corporate PACs that have corrupted our system.
There’s so much we still need to do — like open field offices across the district, recruit and train volunteers, and make sure we can reach as many voters as possible at the doors, on TV, online, and in mailboxes.
