Before I ran for Congress, I founded the Central Valley New Market Tax Credit Fund, which invests in socially and economically disadvantaged areas in our community.
Health care access is a huge area of need in California’s Central Valley, so our fund invested over $20 million into building and improving health clinics to expand access here. I’m not saying this to give myself a pat on the back, but I do know a thing or two about health care. Not to mention, my wife is a pediatric ICU physician in our community too.
There are a lot of injustices in the way we run our healthcare system in this country — especially for those who need it most. That’s why I support Medicare for All.
It’s simple: I believe every person has a right to health care, and nobody should go bankrupt or die if they get seriously ill and can’t pay the medical bills.
I need to hear from you, because Congress may be taking up this issue very soon. Can you share your thoughts about Medicare for All?
Thanks for giving me your input,
TJ Cox
P.S. It’s so important to me that everyone has a say in what happens in Washington, that’s why I take the time to read these responses personally. Here’s the link again >>
