Last night, local news stations Radio Bilingue and KQED held a town hall at The Women’s Club of Sanger, CA to give residents the opportunity to hear from CA-21 congressional candidates David Valadao and TJ Cox. There’s was only one problem — David Valadao decided not to show up.
It was disappointing, but it was not a surprising move from Valadao given his history of ignoring constituents in this community — on health care, on taxes, and on trade. But we know folks probably had some tough questions for Rep. Valadao that he didn’t have very good answers to.
Despite the fact that David Valadao is hiding from his constituents in these final weeks, he is up on the air with misleading attacks and smears against TJ Cox that we must respond to or risk losing.
