As his mom, I’ve watched Cory take on some of the toughest fights since early on in his career — fights people said he could never win — all because he felt a sense of duty and service to others.
When he told me he was running for president, I knew it was him stepping up to serve once again. He’s always given back to the communities that have done so much for him — working together to build something bigger than just one person.
Cory knows he can’t do it by himself.
That’s why his campaign has put such a premium on what it means to be a donor. Every single person who chips in isn’t just helping him get to the debate stage, they’re the founders of this campaign — the people who’ve believed in him from the start.
Now, I know I may be biased, but I think Cory will make an incredible president.
I know he’s an underdog in this race, and with so many great candidates running, grabbing the national spotlight is hard — that’s why this moment is so important.
These debates give him a chance to show the whole country what I already know to be true — that he’s got what it takes to not only beat Trump but to help us come together to solve some of our biggest problems.
