The Pledge to Stop Trafficking Press Conference

FRESNO, CA – Seven (7) area nonprofits and local law enforcement leaders will take over the streets of Fresno to fundraise for The Pledge to Stop Trafficking (PTST) campaign.

 

WHAT:               January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month and local law enforcement and a coalition of valley-based nonprofits are joining forces to support to stop human trafficking in the Central Valley at a press conference.

This press conference will include PTST member organizations, volunteers and supporters from Fresno, including the Fresno Monsters and the Fresno State Hockey Team, take to the streets to raise awareness and collect money that will provide direct services to local victims of human trafficking.

WHEN:                 Tuesday, January 21, 2019 at 11 a.m.
Volunteers will be collecting support starting at 6 a.m. until 6 p.m.

ABOUT PLEDGE TO STOP TRAFFICKING:
The Pledge to Stop Trafficking (PTST) is a coalition of seven local nonprofits that provide critical services and support to victims of sex trafficking. Money raised for the PTST Fund is distributed to those organizations that are working tirelessly to prevent human trafficking as well as provide direct support to help victims heal.
