We just got word about Valadao’s first planned campaign stop ahead of his likely rematch against TJ Cox. It will be a big fundraiser in Washington DC with top Republicans and their deep-pocketed allies.

This is classic Valadao. He’s yet to make a formal announcement to voters in the district about whether he’ll run, but that’s not stopping him from flying to DC to collect big checks from his former special interest donors.

This sums up perfectly why we rejected Valadao in 2018. Whether it’s his vote to dismantle the Affordable Care Act or this apparent campaign launch from DC, it’s clear he’s more interested in his donors than the people of this district.
