As the daughter of an elementary school teacher, I could not be more humbled to have the support of our teachers and educational workers.
As Lt. Governor, I will always stand with our teachers and faculty. I know first-hand that access to a high quality public school education is the roadmap to success for California’s future. CFT members are on the front lines every day for our students and families, from creating a safe haven for immigrant students to making sure our teachers and educators are paid a fair and livable wage. Teachers should also be able to live and work in their communities, and as Lt. Governor, I look forward to working with leaders in CFT to create policies that enhance the lives and education of all Californians.
