Trailer: An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power

A decade after An Inconvenient Truth brought climate change into the heart of popular culture, comes the riveting and rousing follow-up that shows just how close we are to a real energy revolution. Vice President Al Gore continues his tireless fight traveling around the world training an army of climate champions and influencing international climate policy. Cameras follow him behind the scenes – in moments both private and public, funny and poignant – as he pursues the inspirational idea that while the stakes have never been higher, the perils of climate change can be overcome with human ingenuity and passion.

Progressive candidate for U.S. Senate comes to Fresno!

Good morning all,

Don’t forget that this Saturday at 6 p.m. you have the opportunity to meet Pat Harris, Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate in 2018! Pat Harris vigorously supports single payer healthcare, transitioning to 100% renewable energy, and best of all – he takes no corporate donations.

Pat Harris announced his campaign about a week ago, and he’s on his “listening tour” getting to know the grassroots in our great state. Pat and his team want to hear directly from progressive organizers and find out what we consider important issues here in the Central Valley.

The event will be held at Common Space in Downtown Fresno (and we are very thankful to the FCDCC for allowing us to borrow a few chairs!). Free pizza will be provided as well.

Feel free to forward this to your friends and neighbors. Let’s show Pat that Fresno is a welcoming, progressive, and vibrant community!

In solidarity,

Emily Cameron
