Faith in Fresno is holding its second Employment & Policies meeting Thursday, August 17, from 6pm to 8pm at Carter Memorial AME Church, 940 Waterman Ave in West Fresno. We will be planning for a press conference Thursday, Aug 24, kicking off our campaign for better employment policies from the city government, policies that guarantee resources are made available to all who have a need for them throughout our city. We will also be challenging Amazon, which is planning an e-commerce fulfillment center for SW Fresno, to become a good partner in promoting wellness of community, giving back to the neighborhoods of West Fresno some of what they saved from the twenty years of tax freedom given to them by the city. Participants at our first meeting included Taymah Jahsi, JePaul White, Aaron Foster, and Thomas Weiler. Please join us to help make our message as effective as possible.
