Once again, our heart is broken watching our fellow Americans suffer the impact of a natural disaster — this time the horrific wildfires devastating northern California and parts of Southern California.

 

We continue to pray for the families of the 21 who have died, the more than 200 who have been injured, and the many more who have been impacted by some of the worst wildfires in California history.

 

We can’t thank enough the many brave firefighters and other emergency personnel who have risked their lives to save lives and try to protect homes and businesses. We are always grateful for their courageous service.

 

At times like this, we need to offer more than just our thoughts and prayers. We need to help our fellow Californians. That is why I’m asking you to take action today and make a contribution to organizations that work to help victims and survivors of these wildfires.

 

Let’s do what we always do in times of crisis; let’s be there for each other. Your support, large or small, will make a big difference for someone who has suffered a loss due to these fires.
