California Sunshine, Rain, and Snow

From stops in the rainy Central Valley to snowy drives back down to sunny San Diego—we’ve heard from so many of you this week, and seen all the eventful weather California has to offer along the way. Thank you to Democrats in Monterey, Kings, Tulare, Kern, Imperial, San Diego, and Ventura counties for making the time to meet with me this week. And a very special thank you to Susanne, who brought me delicious oranges from her sister’s farm in the Central Valley, to take with me on the road!

This week, I’ve also had the good fortune of releasing my first list of endorsements from across our state. I’m honored to have the support of so many grassroots leaders, delegates and activists across California. Our victories are made possible through your tireless efforts–knocking on doors, making phone calls, and registering new voters. You are building an even stronger, better Party, and I am so very grateful for your support.

We’ve discussed a broad range of policy issues, and the biggest issues facing the California Democratic Party as we move forward. Party activists most often bring up healthcare, environmental justice and a Green New Deal, homelessness, and concerns about CDP operations.
