CADEM Promote and Protect the Vote Operations and Resources

Dear Democratic Party Leaders, Candidates, Campaign Staff, and Activists:

The California Democratic Party (CDP) has been protecting the rights of all voters and ensuring that every vote counts through our Promote and Protect the Vote (P2TV) Program since 1992.

This critical election, we are expanding and investing our statewide P2TV Program to make sure that you have the proper resources and that we work together to turn out and protect the vote in all corners of our state.

To that end, we are launching the 2018 CDP P2TV Program to:

Assist voters with voting-related questions,
Investigate and troubleshoot election-related issues with our network of volunteer attorneys and election officials, and
Provide voter protection resources and training to Democratic campaigns, County Central Committees, clubs/organizations and activists, and allied/partnered organizations.

If voters have any questions or encounter issues with voting, or if your campaign/organization encounters issues relating to elections and voting, please contact our Promote and Protect the Vote Hotline, which is operational from early October through Election Day:

Tuesday, October 9, 2018 to Friday, November 2, 2018 (Weekdays, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
Saturday, November 3, 2018, through Monday, November 5, 2018 (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
Tuesday, November 6, 2018 (Election Day) (6:30 AM – 8:00 PM)

We are recruiting volunteer attorneys and volunteer operators to be part of our Promote and Protect the Vote Team. Interested attorneys, law students, and activists who would like to be part of our P2TV Team may sign up by clicking on the appropriate link below:

Volunteer Attorney Signup Form All volunteer attorneys will receive the CDP P2TV Voter Protection training, approved by the State Bar of California for MCLE credit.
P2TV Hotline Volunteer Operator (Non-Attorney) Signup Form P2TV hotline operations are based in Sacramento at the CDP Headquarters. All volunteer operators will receive training on P2TV operations.
