Bernie Blasts the Recall

Senator Bernie Sanders is speaking out urgently – progressives must all unite to defeat the Republican recall of Governor Newsom.

Caregivers and Californians United Against the Recall is leading the progressive pushback against the right-wing recall – and we are asking you to join us and Senator Sanders in rejecting this costly and corrosive attack on our values.

Caregivers and Californians United was launched by the National Union of Healthcare Workers, one of America’s leading champions of Medicare for All. We were joined this week by Courage California, our state’s largest grassroots progressive organization. Thousands of progressive activists are joining us every day because they know – the recall is an effort to rollback California’s progressive priorities. 

Our campaign is organizing Californians who support universal healthcare, stronger environmental protections, tenants’ rights, immigrant rights, criminal justice reform, and other progressive priorities to defeat the recall and push forward with the program of real change our state’s residents want and need.

Right-wing Republican politicians and donors are working overtime to drive this damaging recall. We need to work even harder to stop it – by organizing activists on the ground in every corner of California to fight back against this attack on our shared agenda for real change.
