Friend,
Running for president is a humbling process. All day long, I’m asking people to believe.
I recognize that I’m just one guy from Jersey, and that changing this country is going to take many of us coming together. To be clear, I’m not asking for you to put all of your faith in me. I’m asking you to put your faith in us. To put your faith in what we can accomplish together.
I know that’s not always easy. It’s simpler to look around, see how far we’ve strayed from what’s normal and right in our politics and economy, and throw up your hands. It’s always easier to sit back and hope that someone else has what it takes to change things for the better.
But politics isn’t a spectator sport. If we want real, lasting change, we’ve gotta get out on the field and make things happen. And none of us can do it by ourselves.
That’s how we’ll win.
I’m so grateful for every single person who sees what’s happening in our country — in your communities — and makes the decision to keep believing.
You’re heroes, all of you.
Cory
