We’ve known all along what the President’s proposed Census citizenship question is really about: silencing and undercounting immigrant communities for political gain. Yesterday, our theory was confirmed.

Alarming just-released documents further prove that the right-wing architects of the citizenship question deliberately intended to silence immigrant communities, with one leading proponent arguing it “would be advantageous to Republicans and non-Hispanic whites.

We’re currently in the courts challenging the President over the citizenship question.

And the Supreme Court is expected to announce a decision on the citizenship question at any moment in the next few weeks, so this can’t wait.
