Central Valley Indivisible and Fresno County Democrats will host retired farmer Paul Buxman, librarian Hope Nisly and agrarian scholar and progressive activist Daniel O’Connell in a panel discussion of their experience suing Devin Nunes and his belated (and now dismissed) SLAPP lawsuit against them. We will explore the dubious, anti-democratic and frankly terrifying legal arguments Nunes is making to quash all criticism, and learn about their own experience taking on CD 22’s notorious and immoral “representative.”
