We are so excited to announce two new endorsements: Equality California and the Blue Dog Coalition! The Blue Dog Coalition is a group of fiscally-responsible Democrats in Congress who focus on bipartisan solutions to some of the nation’s biggest problems, including national security and economic growth. Brynne would work closely with members of the Coalition to pass commonsense legislation that sets partisanship aside and puts our communities first. Equality California is the nation’s largest statewide LGBTQ civil rights organization, and Brynne is so proud to have earned their endorsement. Equality California recognizes that Brynne is a candidate who will fight for the rights of everyone. Brynne understands that “Representative” is not just a job title. It’s a job description. Only by bringing together the entire community are we going to defeat Tom McClintock and deliver the real representation that every single person in our district deserves — regardless of their politics. And that’s why we are so proud to have these two very different groups supporting Brynne. If you’ve saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: In a district as far-reaching and diverse as California’s 4th, it’s important to build up a broad coalition of supporters. The Blue Dogs and Equality California join a broad cross-section of groups and individuals who have joined our campaign. From labor unions and local elected officials (both Democrats and Republicans) to national organizations like End Citizens United and Serve America, it’s clear Brynne has the ability to unite diverse constituencies. That’s exactly what she’s going to do to win this November, and it’s how she’ll lead as our next representative. Thanks for stepping up! — Matt Matt Herdman
The number one priority during this time is to make sure everyone helps mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in California and across the country. Our campaign is doing our part by canceling all in-person events, moving to a digital operation, and supporting local efforts to help those in need. Emails like this are a critical part of our ability to run a strong campaign that can win.
