Tweet from Cory: My mother took care of my father when he was ill with Parkinson's onset dementia. We have to do a better job of tackling the problems associated with neurological diseases--better research, better health care, better support for caregivers.

Caring for a sick loved one is one of the hardest jobs out there. Like many family caregivers, Cory’s mom took on this role often at the expense of her own health — both emotionally and physically. We’ve got to do more to help out caregivers.
That starts with us, right now.
Let’s show these selfless Americans that they’re not alone and that they deserve access to resources and training to properly care for their family members. Sign our campaign’s petition to make sure supporting family caregivers is a strong part of the Democratic Party platform.
