GET OUT THE VOTE

FOR FRESNO’S ENDORSED DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATES
First, I want to thank all of you for the hard work you have been putting in. Whether that was knocking on a door, calling a voter, or helping organize in the office, you have helped make a difference for our candidates and community. We want to make sure that we build on our success and with LESS THAN one week left until Election Day, we want to make sure everyone is signing up for multiple shifts and sharing all opportunities to be part of the cause with their friends and family over the phone or social media.

According to the most recent ballot return update, more Republicans have voted than Democrats in Fresno so we really need your help. Your support will help us elect a Democratic mayor for the first time since the 1980s. When Democrats vote, we win.

We will have phone banking, canvassing, and organizing in the office every day until March 3rd so sign-up below!
If you can’t make it to our office there are still ways to get involved from home! We have opportunities for people to make phone calls from home by clicking:

If you would like to help with volunteer recruitment calls, reach out to me by email or phone and I will set you up with that!

Thanks so much!

No need to wait a week to vote

No need to wait a week to vote

Team,

Election Day is one week from today, but that doesn’t mean that you have to wait until March 3rd to vote!

In fact, the earlier you can vote, the better. A record 20.5 million Californians have registered to vote and we’re expecting a high turnout in this election. The best way to avoid waiting in line on Election Day is to vote early. Here are a few easy ways to do it:
  • If you received a vote-by-mail ballot, return it as soon as you can. You can drop it in the mail (you don’t even need a stamp, return postage is prepaid), just make sure it’s postmarked on or before Election Day. Or you can turn it in at any polling place, vote center, or to your county elections office.
  • If you live in a county that has adopted the Voter’s Choice Act, vote centers are now open across the county. Find one that’s convenient to your home, job, school, or place of worship at: www.sos.ca.gov/elections/polling-place/
  • Voters in any county can visit their county elections office to vote early. Find locations and hours at: www.sos.ca.gov/elections/polling-place/

With more days and more ways to vote, there’s no need to wait until Election Day to vote. Take advantage of the convenience of voting early, then help us make sure that every eligible Californian has an opportunity to vote early too:

Thanks for doing your part to strengthen our democracy,

Alex Padilla
California Secretary of State
