Arambula campaign seeking volunteers for GOTV
From our friends at the Dr. Joaquin Arambula for Assembly campaign:
We are doing a massive GOTV training/launch from the Carpenter’s Hall on Hulbert. I am attaching our volunteer pledge form with has different shifts and times we are doing canvassing and phonebanking between April 2nd-5th. (Click here for the Volunteer Pledge form.)
We will need help with 2 roles, precinct observer and precinct watcher/canvasser. Both are very important and integral to a successful GOTV. We have great momentum with our ballot returns and hope to gain even more ground over the weekend.
Our observers will be at the polls making sure everything is run smoothly and that the poll workers are not breaking the rules. Our watchers/canvassers are checking the lists and then knocking doors of supporters/dems to get them to the polls.
For election day we would love all day commitment but the real need will be from 2PM-8PM.
We will provide breakfast/lunch/dinner for all volunteers as well.
We ask that everyone meet at the Carpenter’s Hall for their training and assignment.

This weekend we are hosting a Day of Action, it is a volunteer canvassing opportunity for all our supporters to come out, and spread our message to all of Fresno. Please see attached. For those who are unavailable to walk, we have phone-banking opportunities during the week from 5-8pm and we canvass every day starting at 10am, 12pm on Sundays.

Dr. Joaquin Arambula: On the home stretch

As we enter the homestretch before the April 5 Special Election, momentum is clearly on our side.
With your help, we have built an incredible organization to tell people about my plans to fight for a healthier Valley and encourage them to vote. In fact, over the last two months, our campaign has directly contacted over 125,000 voters in Assembly District 31 at their doors or on the phone.
We can feel the energy and excitement for our campaign throughout the community. And we’re ready to take it through the finish line – but we can’t do it without your help.
And there are a number of ways you can get involved as we approach Election Day on April 5:
- Show your support at the next debate, hosted by the Fresno Bee and Power Talk 96.7, this Wednesday, March 23 at Pardini’s from 4-6pm.
