Happen Tomorrow: FCYD Summer Social

The Fresno County Young Democrats would like to invite you to our Summer Social & Networking Meeting taking Tuesday, August 24! We will be outdoors at the Full Circle Brewing Co. Patio (712 Fulton St).

Join us from 6:30 to 9:00 PM for an evening of socializing and networking. All age groups are welcome! Come make new friends or catch up with old ones. The first 40 people there will get a free drink on us.

You MUST be fully vaccinated to attend.

While the event is outdoors, we strongly encourage everyone to wear a mask throughout the evening. Please stay home if you have experienced or are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms.

The Fresno-Madera-Tulare-Kings Central Labor Council, AFL-CIO cordially invites you and your family to our 2021 Labor Day Festival & Tailgate at Fresno State!

Join us on Saturday, August 28th for a morning of food, football and fun as we celebrate the Great California Comeback with the Bulldogs.

Tickets for the festival are $50 and include breakfast, lunch, ice cream, drinks, beer, field games, kids zone, and admission to the Fresno State Football Game vs. the UConn Huskies. Kickoff is at 11 a.m.

Additional ticket options available are Festival & Tailgate Only ($35, no game admission) and Game Only ($25, no food and drink).

The Labor Day Festival & Tailgate will take place on the grass field at the Softball East Tailgate Spaces on the Fresno State campus, located on the southeast corner of Barstow & Cedar Avenues.

The festivities will begin at 8 a.m. and conclude at 12 noon, one hour past kickoff.

With Fresno State announcing 100% capacity for football games at Bulldog Stadium, this event is going to be the Valley’s first major event back and we cannot wait to reunite with you all.

The California Citizens Redistricting Commission is launching the third Community of Interest (COI) public input meeting fo Zone F-(Fresno, Kern, Kings, Madera, Merced, San Joaquin, Stanislaus, Tulare). Your input is vital to the success of the Commission. We need your Communities of Interest information to respect the boundaries of your communities during the redistricting process. Please see below for details and share with your network.

  1. Begin with your county or city.
  2. Mention the street names and significant locations in your neighborhood to help us identify the parameters of your community.
  3. What are your shared interests?
  4. What brings you together?
  5. What is important to your community?
  6. Are there nearby areas you want to be in a district with?
  7. Nearby areas you don’t want to be in a district with? Why or why not?
  8. Has your community come together to advocate for important services, better schools, roads, or health centers in your neighborhood?
