Dear Community Member,
We need your input on both the framework for the Community Engagement Plan and the draft Displacement Avoidance Plan.  You can view both of those documents below and respond to transformfresno@fresno.gov
 by June 23, 2019.  Another way to provide input would be by the completion of the Community Engagement Plan Survey and the Displacement Avoidance Plan Survey.  Links to those surveys are below and will need to be completed before the due date of June 23, 2019.

Pastors for Peace Caravan to Cuba Event June 19

PASTORS FOR PEACE CARAVAN TO CUBA IN FRESNO JUNE 19, Wednesday

 

Event starts 6:30 PM, Wesley Methodist Church 1343 E Barstow Ave,  at 4th St (parking lot entrance on 4th), Fresno, in the Sanctuary.

Speakers: an experienced community activist from Cuba, with an amazing history,

  and film-maker Catherine Murphy .

Film: Maestra, about the Literacy Campaign in Cuba. (9 minutes)

Live music from Teatro de la Tierra/Generaciones

Potluck supper – try some Cuban congrís

The Pastors for Peace Caravan to Cuba, including 4 local participants, is going to Cuba, bringing solidarity and getting information. Sendoff event in Fresno on Wednesday June 19.  A great chance for those who have questions about Cuba (or a special interest in how it is possible to teach everyone  to read and write, and how that changes everything.) 

Event is free, and wheelchair accessible.
