YOU’RE INVITED – Special Virtual Screening of Upcoming Documentary ALL IN: THE FIGHT FOR DEMOCRACY – Wednesday, September 16th – 7:00pm

Hello –
My name is John Weaver and I am the Northern California representative for Amazon Studios.
Amazon Studios is releasing the upcoming documentary ALL IN: THE FIGHT FOR DEMOCRACY on Amazon Prime Video on September 18th.
More info on the film is below, as well as a link the film’s trailer.
With the Presidential election just two months away, this is an extremely timely film that deals with the issue of voter suppression here in the United States.
We will be having a ‘virtual” advance screening of this film on Wednesday, September 16th at 7:00pm.
We would like to invite your organization, staff, colleagues, members, friends, etc., to attend this special screening, so please feel free to share this email.

To download a screening pass, please visit www.AmazonScreenings.com,
click on the orange “Redeem Pass” button & enter the code:

FresnoWOM0916

Once someone clicks on the above link and registers for the screening, they will receive an email confirmation. I would suggest reminding folks to be sure to check their spam/junk folders for this email (as they are notorious for going into spam). Then, one hour before the start of the screening they will receive another email with their “individual” screening link – they will need to click on that link to be placed into the virtual waiting room. The film will then begin to screen at 7:00pm. If folks click on their link after 7:00pm, they will not be able to screen the film.

More info on the film is below.
Please let me know if you might have any questions, or need any additional information.
We hope that you will be able to join us virtually on September 16th.
Many thanks,
John Weaver

SYNOPSIS

In anticipation of the 2020 presidential election, ALL IN: THE FIGHT FOR DEMOCRACY examines the often overlooked, yet insidious issue of voter suppression in the United States. The film interweaves personal experiences with current activism and historical insight to expose a problem that has corrupted our democracy from the very beginning. With the perspective and expertise of Stacey Abrams, the former Minority Leader of the Georgia House of Representatives, the documentary offers an insider’s look into laws and barriers to voting that most people don’t even know are threats to their basic rights as citizens of the United States.

Directed by: Academy Award-nominated and Emmy-winning filmmaker Liz Garbus and Oscar-nominated and Emmy-nominated filmmaker Lisa Cortés.

Produced by: Producers are Liz Garbus, Lisa Cortés, Dan Cogan and Stacey Abrams.
