LOS ANGELES, CA — Today, California Democratic Party Vice Chair, Eric C. Bauman, released a new digital video ad, titled “Bold Ideas.”

- This is a bleak time for our country, with Donald Trump and his dystopian worldview attacking every one of our closely held values. But just it’s not enough for the Democratic Party to be the anti-Trump Party.
- We must unite around our shared progressive agenda.
- As Democrats across our nation struggle to stay relevant, the successes of the Democratic Party right here in California provide the roadmap back to power.
- To accomplish this — we must harness the innovation and passion of California’s grassroots Democratic activists, and embrace three core pillars:
- That we are the Party of the Big Tent.
- The Party of Bold Ideas.
- And the Party that is Building the Future.
- These pillars can’t just be empty rhetoric — they have to be our reality.
- That’s why when I’m elected Chair, I will immediately begin live-streaming our meetings so that every Democrat in California, no matter where they’re located, can participate.
- I am committed to taking on Schwarzenegger’s top-two Primary, which pits Democrat on Democrat and wastes millions of our dollars.
