Quick campaign update:

It’s been a minute since I’ve been able to update you on what my campaign has been up to — and boy, we’ve been up to a lot!

Last week, I got to join the Roseville Junction Democrats and talk about how we can bring better government and true representation to our district in 2020 (and getting to enjoy Ellen’s amazing cookies was an added bonus!).

But that was just one stop. I’ve made it my mission to visit with as many people in our district as possible, because, as your representative, I think it’s pretty important to know where your priorities are at. In the past two weeks, I’ve had the pleasure of visiting constituents in Oakhurst, Lincoln, Truckee, Auburn, Murphys, beautiful Alpine County, and many other spots in-between!

It’s from crisscrossing the district that I’ve been able to connect one-on-one with voters, and those conversations have inspired the new priorities page on my website.

Also, as the campaign gears up, we’re building out our staff. This month alone, we’ve added two new incredible members to our growing team.

Speaking of my team, I’d be remiss not to recognize you. Thank you so much for standing with me as I work to break through the partisan gridlock and give our district a real voice in Washington, D.C.
