Completed Safety Barrier Improvements near Aspen Valley Prep School!

Much needed safety improvements along a walking path to Aspen Valley Prep School have now been completed! Project by project we are creating Safer & Stronger Neighborhoods! Safety Barriers were deteriorating and missing in some parts of the canal near Hughes and Ashlan Avenues but have now been completely replaced!

ROAD CLOSURE ANNOUNCEMENT!

Palm Avenue will be closed at theBNSF Railway tracks between Dakota and Ashlan Avenues beginning Monday, August 19 through Thursday, August 29.

BNSF will be doing repairs on the railroad tracks on Palm Avenue. Detours will be in place. Expect delays if traveling in this area. For question or concerns please feel free to contact the District 1 office at (559) 621-7816 or email District1@fresno.gov.
