serious about ending HIV by 2030. Is Trump? ———————————————————————————————————————–

Equality California

Last November, you and I made history! THANK YOU for helping to make this son of immigrants the first LGBTQ statewide elected official in California history. But, Michael, there is still so much work to do:

In Trump’s State of the Union, he pledged to end HIV transmissions by 2030.

I’m all in — but I’m going to hold him accountable. Since day one, the Trump-Pence Administration has made life HARDER for people living with HIV and AIDS — not easier — often stripping lifesaving resources from those who need it most.

Join me in holding the Trump-Pence Administration to their word. Sign our petition to hold Trump accountable to his promise of getting to zero HIV transmissions by 2030 >>

In California, we reduced the uninsured rate to a record low 7 percent. Yet across the country, LGBTQ Americans are STILL twice as likely to be uninsured — and the numbers are even worse for people of color and those living in poverty. If President Trump is serious about getting to ZERO HIV transmissions, he should work to eliminate these disparities, encourage states to expand Medicaid and safeguard spending for HIV/AIDS research and care.

Show President Trump that we’re serious about ending HIV by 2030 — even if he isn’t. Sign our petition now:
