Mitch McConnell HATES the Democrats’ first bill in the House.
He called it a “power grab” and lamented that it will change the way we elect our representatives.
But here’s what McConnell is really saying: Voting rights are BAD for Republicans.
Democrats are championing a sweeping anti-corruption and voting rights bill that would implement automatic voter registration, fully restore the Voting Rights Act, and restore voting rights to former felons who have finished paying their debt to society. The bill also takes aim at dark money to root out corruption.
McConnell is nervous that the days of dark-money flowing into campaign coffers is over, and that their voter-suppression scheme has seen its last days.
McConnell is vowing to kill this bill in the Senate. It’s going to take a massive surge of public pressure to demand McConnell bring this bill up for a vote. Will you sign our petition and put the pressure on McConnell?
