Peaceful Demonstration to Tell Devin Nunes to Stop Protecting Trump from the Russia Investigation
WHO: Every Tuesday Vigil, a group of more than 60 constituents of Rep. Devin Nunes.
WHAT: Peaceful demonstration in response to the release of the secret Nunes tape. We will tell Rep. Nunes to stop protecting Trump from the Russia investigation because NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW. Bring your own signs or we have ones you can use.
WHEN: Tuesday, Aug. 21 at 7:30 a.m.
WHERE: District office of Rep. Devin Nunes. Gather along the corner of Clovis Ave and 3rd St. in front of Devin Nunes office, 264 Clovis Ave, Suite 206. Use street parking and avoid parking in the lot behind Nunes office building, the Sentinel Building.
BACKGROUND: Every Tuesday Vigil is a group of citizen-activists who have gathered every Tuesday for 76 straight weeks to peacefully demonstrate at the office of Rep. Devin Nunes. On Tues., Aug. 14, our protest made national news when Congressional candidate Andrew Janz, demonstrators, and press were locked out of our Rep. Nunes’ office. While we have no intention of entering the building when we return Tues., Aug. 21, it is a shame that Devin Nunes never shows up to this office to meet and greet his constituents. A tenant of the building said yesterday, “I’ve been here for 20 years and I’ve never seen the man”.
