The Fresno County Democratic Central Committee has not endorsed any candidate in this race.
This is urgent: the Trump Administration is about to undo regulations intended to keep the internet accessible and fair for all of us.
I need your help to push back on Trump and make sure consumers are protected.
How can Trump do this? Because Congress has failed to put into federal law the policies that keep the internet accessible and fair to everybody.
But if enough of us come together, right now, to put pressure on the FCC, Trump, and Congress, we can protect fair access to the internet.
Fair access to quality internet service is important. From education, to commerce, to health care, to government services and entertainment, we are increasingly dependent on the internet in all aspects of our lives. That’s why in 2010, I authored the state law that provides funding to deploy high speed internet in the unserved and underserved areas of California. We should be doing more to ensure every American — no matter where you live or your income level — has access to quality and high speed internet.
