2017 Women of the Year Nominations
Nomination Deadline:
Wednesday, March 1st at 5:00p.m.
March is Women’s History Month and Councilmember Esmeralda Soria is excited to host her 3rd Annual Women of the Year awards. Exceptional women in District One, who embody courage, hard work, and are passionate about strengthening our community. I hope you will tell us about the remarkable women in who live, work, or volunteer in District One and deserve a little more appreciation for all they are doing to make to make Fresno and District One a better place.
District One encompasses areas in West Central Fresno, Tower District, Fresno City College, Central High School, Fresno High School, Highway City, Inspiration Park, Quigley Park, Lions Park and neighborhoods west of Highway 99. A person must be nominated for one of seven categories.
The categories include business, community advocacy, education, arts & culture, public safety, health & wellness, and youth (14-22).
