Put aside all of Trump’s antics — the divisive language, the unhinged tweets, and the barrage of scandals, and look at what he’s actually done with David Valadao’s help in Congress:
✓ Passed his tax scam that disproportionately hurts Californians — especially younger people looking to buy a home.
✓ Passed the AHCA in the House which could’ve dropped millions of Americans from their health care coverage — hundreds of thousands of whom live right here in the Central Valley.
✓ Fought to end DACA and launched reckless and cruel deportation raids throughout our communities.
Here’s my take: The Republican Party is the party of Trump now, and they can’t be trusted to hold power in Congress — especially with so-called “moderates” like David Valadao voting with Trump 98.5% of the time.
But I want to hear from 5,000 California Democrats like you by midnight tonight: Will you take our short survey and let us know where you stand?
Can Republicans in Congress be trusted to hold Trump accountable?
