Mitch McConnell thinks the “case is closed” against Donald Trump.
If any other human being in this country had done what’s documented in the Mueller Report, they would be arrested and put in jail.
And you don’t have to take it from me — over 600 former federal prosecutors just signed a letter agreeing that if Donald Trump weren’t in the White House, he already would have been indicted for obstruction of justice.
Mitch McConnell took the same oath of office as I did: To protect and defend the Constitution of the United States — not to protect and defend Donald Trump.
Every elected official should read the Mueller report. They’ll see three inescapable facts that Mitch McConnell can’t hide: A foreign government attacked our elections in order to help Donald Trump. Trump welcomed that help. Trump tried to obstruct the investigation into his actions.
The House should do its job and begin impeachment proceedings. Add your name if you agree.
Look: This is not a fight that I wanted to take on, but this is the fight that’s in front of us right now. And there is no political inconvenience exception to the United States Constitution.
I didn’t go to Washington to duck the tough fights. Senators — and presidents — don’t get to pick and choose the issues that come across their desks.
We can’t just ignore issues because they’re difficult. We have to address this now.
Add your name if you agree the House should begin impeachment proceedings.
Thanks for being a part of this,
