This is serious. President Trump just tweeted that he’s moving to revoke California’s ability to regulate toxic vehicle emissions.

WASHINGTON POST:

Trump says he’s revoking California’s power to limit pollution from cars and trucks

This is unprecedented and deadly. If the administration moves forward and succeeds, more toxic air pollution will fill the lungs of people across the country.

The President’s attack is baseless. Thanks to the Clean Air Act, for over 40 years, California has had the ability to regulate our air to ensure it is cleaner than the federal government’s standards.

We’ve cut over 400,000 tons of greenhouse gas emissions from the atmosphere every year between 1970 and 2010. And that’s not all, 13 states follow California’s stricter rules, multiplying our impact.

President Trump just moved to take that ability all away. We won’t stand for his toxic agenda. If you’re with us, jim, let’s show the President he can’t pillage our air:

We’re prepared to lead. We’re prepared to fight. We’ll do what we must.
