The people of California’s 22nd district are represented by a Congressman who has spent more time over the past year feuding with a fictional cow and bending to Donald Trump’s will than listening to voters.
Something needs to change in Washington, D.C., and I believe I’m the right person at the right time to beat Nunes.
But, on Sunday we’re facing our first end-of-quarter fundraising deadline since we launched this campaign. What we raise now will be public for everyone — including Nunes and his big dark money donors — to see.

The Central Valley is my home — I grew up here and I’m raising my family here. In recent years I’ve become more and more concerned by the growing dysfunction in D.C.

Nunes is not fighting for us (he’s spending his time fighting a fictional cow and ranting about the “deep state” instead), and it’s long past time the people of the Central Valley had a leader who will work for them, not Donald Trump.
Instead of standing with Donald Trump to strip access to affordable health care, I’ll use my experience in the non-profit health care industry to make quality care available and affordable for everyone. Instead of fighting with a fictional cow on Twitter, I’ll listen to the concerns of my constituents and work to make the Central Valley a more prosperous community for everyone who calls it home.
