| People often have the wrong idea about what Ambassadors do. To me, it was a job, not a title. When President Obama came to Australia, it was to announce important actions we’d taken together to secure our future in one of the world’s most challenging regions. We’ve released a new video about it today. As with our other videos, I hope it sparks a conversation about hard challenges I’ve taken on, and the new challenges ahead. I’m grateful to you for watching and sharing this, because it will take all of us to meet the challenges of the new economy.
As you’ll see, not only did we take bold measures in Asia, but we also had some fun doing it. Receiving the State Department’s highest honor was just icing on the cake.
