They are the lifeblood of our agricultural economy and they’re under attack
UPDATE: TJ Cox just introduced legislation to shield agricultural workers from deportation and put them on a pathway to permanent status.
Signatures needed: Sign on to protect farmworkers from senseless deportations >>
Under Trump’s anti-immigrant policies, the threat of deportation still persists for over 250,000 undocumented farm workers living in California. But this community represents 60% of all farm workers in our state. Simply put, they are the lifeblood of our agricultural economy and they’re under attack.
That’s why TJ Cox has introduced The Farm Workforce Modernization Act to shield farm workers from senseless deportations and put them on a pathway to permanent status. But we need immediate, grassroots support to get this bill added to the legislative agenda.
Can you add our name to our nationwide petition telling Congress that we need this bill passed?
Protect Farmworkers from Deportation |
It’s a moral failure that so many immigrants who work hard and put food on the tables of American families still live in fear of Trump’s ongoing political agenda to intimidate and vilify.
These farm workers are woven into the fabric of our agricultural communities and our economy depends on them. That’s why we’re fighting back:
Thanks for you support,
