Self-funding is something Cory just can’t and would never do.
He’s been adamant that we have to build this coalition of people the right way from Day One — even if it puts us at a disadvantage financially. We also learned last night that Donald Trump raised over $30 million in the first three months of this year.
He’s raised about $150 million so far for his campaign — using fear tactics, making up crises, and even personally targeting Democrats to raise funds. It’s despicable, but the truth is it’s giving him a real head start in this election.
We need to get to work to change that.
