SAN DIEGO COHORT JOINS FORCES, BACKS LARA FOR INSURANCE COMMISSIONER
Assembly Members Lorena Gonzalez-Fletcher, Todd Gloria, Past SD Dem Party Chair Jesse Durfee Join San Diego Senators Toni Atkins and Ben Hueso in Endorsing Lara’s Statewide Bid
LONG BEACH, CA — Kicking off the week with a big, momentum-building announcement, today State Senator Ricardo Lara’s campaign for California State Insurance Commissioner won endorsements from San Diego area State Assembly Members Lorena Gonzalez-Fletcher and Todd Gloria, as well as past San Diego Democratic Party Chair and current Democratic National Committee Member, Jesse Durfee. The trio joins San Diego area State Senators Toni Atkins and Ben Hueso, who both previously announced their support of Lara’s statewide effort.

Today’s announcement follows the release of the Senator’s new digital video ad, titled, “Embolden,” which takes aim at Donald Trump’s backwards agenda and the President’s comments saying that “California is out of control,” by illustrating the sharp contrast between the Oval Office’s agenda and that of Lara’s.
