The Trump Administration is attacking the Affordable Care Act again and this time they want to strike down the entire ACA.
Let’s be clear about what that means: It means rolling back protections for the millions of Americans with pre-existing conditions. It means higher premiums and higher out-of-pocket costs for preventive care. It means young people will no longer be able to stay on their parents’ health insurance plans until age 26 and women could once again be charged more than men.
I believe that every American has the right to quality, affordable health care. That’s why I fought so hard to help pass the ACA and why I’m working to expand access and make universal health care a reality.
