The Fresno County Democratic Women’s Club is hosting its Annual Fundraiser Dinner, which supports local candidates’ campaigns. Each year the FCDWC honors deserving Democrats, and this year the club will be honoring Young Democratic Trailblazers.

Today we voted to eliminate the ability to give bonuses to unrepresented employees. And, we voted to give teeth to the Transparency Act, glad that my policy recommendation to tie it to the budget was included.
Please note that the November Precinct Leaders Training has been rescheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, at the Democratic Party HQ (1035 U St.). Anyone interested in having a significant impact in 2016 by registering, educating and getting your neighbors out to vote, please show up for this training.
We will have a viewing party at the Democratic Party HQ (1035 U St., downtown Fresno) on Friday, Nov. 6, at 5 p.m. of the First in the South Democratic Presidential Candidates Forum moderated by Rachel Maddow. As with our previous viewing parties, this will be a potluck so please bring a dish to share with fellow viewers.
