California Faculty Association Endorses! #UnionStrong

The future of California and our planet is being shaped in the classrooms, labs and libraries of our universities and colleges – especially our public institutions that serve the majority of students here in California.

Team KE enthusiastically announces the endorsement of the California Faculty Association, an affiliate of the California Teachers Association, Service Employees International Union, National Education Association and American Association of University Professors. CFA represents lecturers, professors, counselors, librarians and coaches, spanning 23 campuses in the California State University System.

“The time is long overdue for California Democrats to elect a woman and the first African American to their top leadership post. CFA is proud to stand with Kimberly Ellis because of her unflinching progressive values and for the bold new leadership that she represents,” said CFA President Jennifer Eagan. “California Democrats need a Chair that will pave the way for new leaders and new ideas as we all prepare for the presidential election in 2020. California needs to take the lead for change by electing a strong woman who brings a fresh vision and a unifying voice.“
