CADEM 2017: It’s a Wrap!

I was inspired to see so many engaged and enthusiastic Democrats from across California at this weekend’s Democratic Party Convention!

I am humbled and honored by all the support and endorsements I have received from delegates for my campaign for Attorney General. The response has been overwhelming and I am incredibly grateful.

As I said in my speech during General Session: Democrats are leading the resistance in California and across the nation. It was exciting to meet all the new Democratic activists and to revisit with those who have been working hard for many years. I was encouraged by the ideas and strategies you shared with me that would ensure progressive policies are not only defended, but expanded.

I was the first statewide elected official to have formally endorsed SB 562, the single payer bill. Please join me and all the party activists already working for its passage.

The support of grassroots Democratic activists means a lot to me. I attended all three days of the convention to hear directly from my fellow Democratic activists from around the state.
