We can no longer allow a white nationalist to be in the White House. Trump’s rhetoric is dangerous and deadly. This weekend’s tragedies are proof positive of that fact.

It is incumbent on all of us — candidates, members of the media, every American of every party — to call this president what he is: A white nationalist. A man whose dangerous rhetoric is costing us lives. Every day we continue to do nothing to confront his hateful rhetoric and the homegrown terrorism it inspires, our country gets closer to another tragedy.

Jay has a plan to address white nationalist gun violence: If you’re ready for a president who makes fighting white nationalist terrorism a priority instead of fueling it, add your name right now.

Jay’s plan addresses white nationalist gun violence by investigating the root cause of the rise of white nationalism in our country using federal law enforcement to investigate, track, and prosecute white nationalist violence at home and abroad.

But we know that easy access to firearms is a huge part of the problem. Jay’s plan includes a national assault weapons ban and enhanced law enforcement efforts to ban untraceable guns, close dangerous loopholes, and help families and law enforcement prevent tragedies with Extreme Risk Protection Orders.

If anyone can get it done, it’s Jay: In Washington, Jay implemented and stood up for Washington’s voter-approved initiative to require safe firearm storage and to ban people under 21 from purchasing semi-automatic rifles. He also signed legislation banning bump stocks and is funding a buyback program that got hundreds of bump stocks off the streets, in addition to legislation allowing police to investigate when people ineligible to purchase firearms “lie and try” to buy guns, which sparked 669 investigations in the first year.

Jay’s leading on this issue through experience — which is exactly what we need to combat this wave of white nationalist gun violence.

Stand with Jay against white nationalist gun violence: Add your name next to his right now.

We’ll never forget those murdered by gun violence in El Paso and Dayton, but also those we lost at Newtown, Parkland, Oak Creek, Charleston, Virginia Beach, and too many other communities to name. It’s why we’re taking bold action to honor their memory — it’s why we have no other choice.
